CAVES TO CROWNS

is a teaching series exploring how God shapes people through seasons of struggle, trauma, and hiddenness (the caves) before leading them into purpose, healing, and influence (the crowns). Each session focuses on a biblical story (like David in the cave, Lot’s daughters, Jesus’ tomb, etc.) and draws out lessons for modern life.

Caves to Crowns is a faith-driven journey that explores how seasons of pain, obscurity, and struggle prepare us for identity, purpose, and destiny. By weaving together biblical narratives and real-life application, it empowers readers to confront trauma, embrace healing, and trust the process of transformation. From the caves of brokenness to the crowns of calling, this work serves as a guide for anyone who feels overlooked, forgotten, or stuck, reminding them that hidden places are often where God does His deepest work. Rooted in the story of David in the Cave of Adullam and in Jermaine Abdual’s own journey of rejection, healing, and rediscovery, Caves to Crowns exists to remind people that the cave is not the end, it is preparation.

Through books, workshops, and conversations, the mission is to:

  • Equip wounded leaders and seekers with tools for healing and wholeness

  • Create safe spaces for those in despair or disillusionment to find clarity and courage

  • Empower a generation of warriors to rise with character, conviction, and calling

  • Transform caves of despair into classrooms of destiny, until every hidden one walks boldly in their crown
